The Fish
The famous Isla Montuosa, Hannibal Bank, Isla Ladrones and the 1000 fathom drop are all very near by. Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Giant Yellowfin Tuna, Sailfish, Wahoo, Rooster, and Dorado are all abundant in the pacific waters off Panama.
The best season for Billfish is from December – April, with the peak months being January-March. Winter months tend to be better for billfish. The Giant Yellowfin Tuna are most often caught in the spring, with some tuna reaching over 200 lbs. frequently caught between March and April.
